Join EVkids for the Annual Expanding Horizons Gala, hosted by Latoyia Edwards, Emmy-winning anchor, NBC Boston, Dorchester native, and EVkids graduate ’94. The Gala celebrates the achievements of Boston youth and the university volunteers who mentor them. The evening will include a live auction and an opportunity to meet current EVkids, their families and tutors, as well as other EVkids alumni and fellow supporters. EVkids supports up to 150 1-on-1 Tutoring pairs at four after-school sites in Dorchester and Roxbury, 25 College Success mentoring pairs for first-generation college attendees, and up to 36 campers at its 9-acre Summer Camp in Vermont. With growing needs, EVkids is committed to ensuring comprehensive support for Boston youth, grades 3 through college.
